Dear God,
Instead of me praying outloud, I wanted to write this down. Instead of doing it with pen and paper, I figured I would start a blog so I can see what prayers get answered throughout my time of doing this. I hope that I can do this on a daily basis. I am starting fresh, not only a new life with my husband, but a new life with you. I'm starting my devotions and hoping I can continue that on a daily basis. Here are my prayers for the day.
I pray for Ryan and I as we start our life together. I pray we keep you at the center of our marriage as we know without you we are nothing and our marriage will not survive the world we are. We know without you, we will not have a marriage for what you created it to be. I pray we continually grow closer to each other as spouses, but not only as spouses, but to You as well. I pray that we focus on You and as long as You are at the center, we know we can get through everything.
I pray for myself Lord. I pray that I find joy and peace in the work that I do. I know I am not doing the work for myself, but that it's suppose to be for you. Lord, I pray you provide the job where I am should be. You have my plan already created and now I pray that I follow that plan. You know I've been struggling with the driving, the hours and the people I work with. I pray that you provide a job for me that is closer to home and where I do not need to work weekends. Lord, I pray that as I get ready to talk to my boss in regards to working weekends, I pray you provide me with the words and wisdom to where I say the right words so I don't have to work Sundays. I want to be able to spend my Sundays at church and with my husband. I pray that my boss will understand the time I want to spend in my marriage and the chance to grow with him. But Lord, I pray you guide me where I am suppose to be. Until I am there, I pray you help me stay positive and find joy in the work that I do as I am doing it for you and no one else.
I pray for Ryan as he is busy with school, work and a new marriage. I pray you help him balance his life. Help him to do well in his studies, as he takes tests him help to remember the marterial he needs to pass tests. I pray that you guide him to where he needs to be working. I pray that you help him grow in his spritual walk with You. I hope that I am a light to him and only encourage him to grow in his faith. I pray he becomes the Godly man You desire him to be. I pray that you soften his heart and grow his passion for You. I know You are capable of changing anyone and You do at the perfect time. I pray that Ryan grows and becomes the man you desire him to be.
Father, I pray for Marisa and her aunt Rachel. I pray you place your healing hand on her body Lord. I know she's not doing well and if it is her time to pass, please let her do it peacefully with her family. I pray that you lift a healing hand over her so she gets better.
I pray for mom and dad as they are busy working in at their stores. I pray you bring them employees who are willing to work and dedicated to their work. I pray you provide them managers so they can work less hours Father. I pray you help their stores to fufill their potential of what they are suppose to be. I pray that their business only increases so they can reap the benefits of being owners of the store. I pray you take the stores where they are suppose to be. Please place a healing hand on mom as she has been sick for almost week. I pray you help her get better as she's trying to heal. Please help her get a good nights rest so she can heal. I pray for dad as he is continually busy. Please keep him healthy as he is always on the go. I pray that they both fufill the plan that you have created for them.
Thank you for the day that you have given us and all that has been given to you. I pray that we have a blessed day tomorrow. Please watch over all of us as we go on our travels to work, school, home, or wherever we may be travelling to or from. Thank you for being the loving Father that you are.
